Jazz Night at the Museum

I’m always on the look out for fun activities to do during the week because let’s face it, the work day can get pretty dull. Sometimes, all we need to break the mundane routine of the corporate world is to have something to look forward to.

On Thursday from 5-7pm, the Smithsonian is hosting a free event with Jazz music and a drawing workshop in the American Art Museum’s Kogod Courtyard. If you’re like me and have little artistic ability but a lot of heart, I imagine that this will be a fun activity to take part in. I know it’s hard to push yourself to go out on the town after a busy work week, but this is the best thing for us. Check it out here.

Fun fact: The above courtyard where the jazz concert is being held was named one of the Seven Architectural Wonders of the World!
